On September 9, 2007 The TraiNgang participated in CN Rail's Employee Open House, held in the Thornton Rail Yards in
Surrey, BC. This annual day long event features numerous displays, activities for the children and a chance to see "Full
Scale" trains close up. The TraiNgang and other displays were set up in the freight car service facility.
